Top Police Officer Joins Co-operation Ireland

One of Northern Ireland's top police officers Assistant Chief Constable Peter Sheridan has today announced he is to step down from the PSNI to become chief executive of Co-Operation Ireland.

 

Co-operation Ireland is a charity dedicated to promoting better relations between the people of Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. The organisation works with schools, youth groups and community groups on both sides of the border, promoting exchanges, joint studies and reconciliation programmes.
