Volunteer Recruitment Campaign

The Borderwise Project has recently launched an initiative to support the recruitment of additional volunteers in the border counties.

The initiative is aimed at supporting the valuable contribution that volunteers make to the provision of Advice & Information services in the region.

The recruitment of new volunteers will be a joint initiative between the Borderwise project and local CABx and CISs in the border region.

Borderwise will provide a range of supports to CABx and CISs in the  region in the recruitment of additional volunteers as well as a range of supports to volunteers once recruited.

The supports available include:

Support for CABx/CISs

· Support to plan and carry out the Volunteer recruitment campaign

· Assistance towards the costs of recruitment

· Administrative Support

· Support in the selection and induction of new volunteers

· Assistance towards the costs of training new volunteers

Support for Volunteers:

· Travel & Meal Allowances

· Childcare Allowance

· Training and Accreditation Costs

· Recognised accredited training in advice and information provision
